2012 Eligibility

Age Groups for Select follow the standard age groupings up to and including Bantam.

For the 2012 season the Midget Boys and Midget Girls age groupings are often allowed
as follows:

Boys: 1993 – 1995 plus 2 players one year overage (1992) who cannot pitch;

Girls: 1992 – 1995 plus 2 players up to two years older (1990 or 1991) who cannot pitch.

WARNING: If you have overage Midget players it is best to confirm their eligibility with the host to avoid showing up on the day of the tournament and finding out that your team has ineligible players.

Player eligibility as well typically means the following:

players are registered in your house league association;
players are a consolidation of players from multiple associations that play in an interlocking or loop league;
players are not OASA or PWSA carded;
players who have been called up to play Rep for 3 or more games are ineligible;
teams that have played in more than 1 Rep tournament are ineligible.

WARNING: If you are not sure about the eligibility of a player because they have played up with the Rep team in your area, check with the host.
